Our flexible and personal service is suitable for owner drivers, small firms and any company that doesn’t wish to use an in house Transport Manager either due to the size of fleet or the costs involved.
We offer a service whereby we can help support your Operation by monitoring your Operator Licence compliance, this service is designed around owner drivers to medium sized fleets and is targeted to compliment your current systems and practices, and to assist Operators to regain full compliance should any part of their system be in doubt or should an audit be requested as an undertaking against your Operator Licence by a Traffic Commissioner.
Initial compliance audit will include,
Visit to customer site to carry out a detailed examination of the Operators Maintenance provision, Daily vehicle checks, Tachograph-data downloading, Driver card-data downloading & analysis, Training records, Driver licencing, Premises suitability, Vehicle suitability, Agency staff, Vehicle hire, Best practice and Industry standard advice.
Following the initial audit, a full report/audit will be produced by JFR Transport Services outlining areas where immediate and short-term action is required. The report will also include mid to long term proposals for meeting and maintaining full Operator compliance standards, this audit will then be submitted to the relevant Traffic Commissioner as requested.
A follow up visit (as required) to ensure the correct systems and procedures have been implemented based on initial audit findings and that all staff are compliant in their actions, with email, and telephone support for a determined period.
John is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport CILT, a Fellow member of the Chartered Management Institute CMI, holds a National and international Transport Manager CPC, qualifications in Business Law, IOSH Health and Safety and Business Studies, Auditing, vocational assessment and Teaching.
John was employed as a Senior Business Manager by one of the Countries leading Construction/Civil Engineering companies and worked on many of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects including the M25 Road Widening scheme, 2012 Olympics, M74 Motorway extension and many School and Hospital projects.
